Émile disappeared on the night of Saturday, July 8 in Vernet, a village located in the Alpes de Haute Provence, in France. The two-and-a-half-year-old boy was playing in the garden of his grandparents’ house, who were in charge of him when they lost sight of them, as reported by the French newspaper ‘Le Monde’. This happened around 5:15 p.m. At 6:00 a.m. the complaint was filed and at 6:40 p.m. the search system was launched by the investigation section of Marseille.
