Despite losing in the second round of the 2023 NBA Playoffs, the Golden State Warriors remain an attractive destination for players looking to win a ring.
The Warriors still boast one of the best trios in the league in Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green and with all three of them healthy there’s no reason that they can’t contend with any other team.
Golden State bolstered the roster by adding Chris Paul to the mix and the veteran point guard should bring a different dynamic to the offense.
The front court, though, remains an area of concern as there isn’t much depth behind Kevon Looney and Green.
The Warriors snagged Dario Saric in free agency, though they have also reportedly been kicking the tires on signing Dwight Howard.
It was reported that Howard would work out with Green and Paul in Los Angeles and the Golden State forward had a strong reaction on the leak via his Twitter account.
One day, one day, everything won’t leak. One day. Good for you btw Jason. But one day, EVERYTHING won’t leak. I have a dream https://t.co/X3HJmGei0T

In this day and age, almost everything gets leaked and reported to the general public and in this case it was no different.
Howard’s meeting and workout were apparently supposed to be kept under wraps and while not groundbreaking information it seems as though Green is annoyed that it came to light.
With the news out there that Howard is a target for the Warriors, it can be safely assumed that they’re looking for some extra rim protection and rebounding on the roster.
Howard may be well past his prime, but he makes for an interesting add nonetheless.
