Hunter Biden Has Not Been Charged with Lobbying Offenses

Recent news reports have been attempting to link Hunter Biden, the son of former Vice President Joe Biden, to lobbying offenses. However, despite the claims made by the GOP, there is no evidence to back up these claims. In fact, no indictments have been made against Hunter Biden and there is nothing in the indictments that connects Joe Biden to his son’s business dealings.

The controversy surrounding Hunter Biden began in October 2019 when the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee (HSGAC) released a report which accused Hunter Biden and his associates of engaging in a “pay-to-play” scheme with the Ukrainian government. The report alleged that Hunter Biden and his associates had used their influence to obtain lucrative contracts from the Ukrainian government.

Despite the claims made in the HSGAC report, no evidence has been presented to support the allegations. Furthermore, the report did not provide any evidence to suggest that Joe Biden was involved in any of Hunter Biden’s business dealings.

In addition, there have been no indictments against Hunter Biden for any lobbying offenses. The only indictments that have been made against Hunter Biden are related to his financial dealings with a Ukrainian energy company. However, the indictments do not allege any wrongdoing on the part of Joe Biden.

It is important to note that the GOP’s claims about Hunter Biden and Joe Biden are unsubstantiated. There is no evidence to suggest that Joe Biden was involved in any of his son’s business dealings and no indictments have been made against Hunter Biden for any lobbying offenses. As such, the GOP’s claims should be taken with a grain of salt.

Ultimately, the GOP’s claims about Hunter Biden and Joe Biden are nothing more than a political attack. Despite the allegations, there is no evidence to support the GOP’s claims and no indictments have been made against Hunter Biden for any lobbying offenses. Therefore, the GOP’s claims should be dismissed as baseless and unsubstantiated.
