The New York Knicks have seemingly found their superstar in Jalen Brunson.
Since joining the Knicks last season, Brunson has helped in turning around the team.
However, despite his great numbers for the organization, many are doubtful about the Knicks actually winning an NBA title with Brunson as the primary superstar due to his short height.
Despite the recent doubts about Brunson’s ability to lead the Knicks, head coach Tom Thibodeau heaped huge praise upon his star guard via Fred Katz on Twitter.
“Anyone who doubts him doesn’t really know him,” Thibodeau said of Jalen Brunson.

Although Brunson is 6-foot-2, his height is small for NBA standards.
Sure, the likes of Isiah Thomas and Stephen Curry have been successful despite not being as tall as some other all-time greats, but not many think Brunson can enter that stratosphere.
Brunson is currently averaging 25.3 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 5.9 assists per game for the Knicks this season.
Considering he is leading the team, Brunson is also expected to become a first time NBA All-Star this season.
On top of playing extremely well, Brunson’s numbers are producing results for the Knicks.
The organization is currently the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 16-11 record.
All things considered, the Knicks could very well become a dark-horse team to lift the prosperous Larry O’Brien trophy later in the season.
But even with Brunson’s sensational numbers, it’s hard to put the Knicks as one of the flat-out favorites to win the 2023-24 NBA Championship.
Can Brunson surprise his doubters?
