With one regular-season game left to play for every team in the NFL, the playoff picture is starting to shape up, with the Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs potentially headed for another epic battle in the postseason.
This would be another classic matchup between two of the league’s best quarterbacks, with superstars Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes again going head-to-head.
With another showdown potentially on the horizon for these two superstars and their teams having identical records heading into Week 18, the comparisons are starting to be made again, with Nick Wright of FOX Sports having some strong opinions about Allen and what he’s cost the Bills this season.
According to Wright, Allen has cost the Bills four games this year, while he believes Mahomes has only cost the Chiefs one game during the regular season via First Things First.
“Josh has cost the Bills four games this year,” Wright said. “Four games direct that they should not have lost directly related to his mistakes, and they might not make the playoffs. So for all those reasons, I know that it was shocking people because some in the media were trying to sell that Josh Allen might be the league’s MVP, but the right three quarterbacks made it in the AFC this year.”

In Week 18, the Chiefs will have a chance to cruise in their regular-season finale, even though Mahomes won’t be playing because they’ll face the lowly Los Angeles Chargers.
However, the same can’t be said for the Bills, with Buffalo set to take on the Miami Dolphins with the AFC East division crown on the line.
It’ll be interesting to see how everything shakes out once the dust has settled, but it’s safe to say everyone is rooting for another Bills and Chiefs showdown in the playoffs, with these superstar quarterbacks battling it out for postseason glory.
