Now that the College Football Championship is in the history books, multiple NFL teams will continue to keep tabs on Jim Harbaugh.

Recent reports state that the Las Vegas Raiders, Los Angeles Chargers, and Washington Commanders, among others, are all interested in his services.

Nonetheless, NFL analyst Skip Bayless would rather put the brakes on this narrative.

Talking on Undisputed, he talked about how much he believes Harbaugh would rather stay in Michigan as opposed to going back to the National Football League:

“Jim Harbaugh’s heart is in Ann Arbor more than it would be in Los Angeles,” Bayless said.

Bayless claimed that Harbaugh, having played and coached in Michigan, could be thinking of putting together a dynasty and perhaps even building a stronger program than Nick Saban in Alabama by winning multiple national championships over the next decade.

This definitely makes sense, considering his strong ties to his Alma Mater dating back to his father and his playing days.

Then again, he’s already been suspended by the NCAA recently, and he could be looking at another potential suspension now that the league is investigating him.

Harbaugh’s tenure with the Wolverines got off to a rocky start because of his struggles to beat Ohio State.

But there would be no better time to walk away than the present.

He’s leaving the program at the peak of his tenure, and he now has an opportunity to do what he wasn’t able to do in his first stint in the National Football League: Win a Super Bowl.
