After a Wild Card round defined mainly by blowouts, the Divisional Round provided much closer, more entertaining games for fans.
The matchup between the Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs was as dramatic as advertised, ending with the Chiefs winning by three points.
This was a back-and-forth battle throughout the game, and while the Chiefs ended up winning, it could have gone either way.
The Bills had themselves in a great position with less than two minutes left in the game, getting themselves within field goal range.
However, Bills kicker Tyler Bass didn’t quite hit the ball how he wanted, and he missed by a wide margin.
This was a devastating blow to the Bills fanbase, especially after working hard to get to this point.
After the game, Bass was asked about his performance by several reporters.
According to Cameron Wolfe via Dov Kleiman, Bass said, “I got to be better.”

Bass had connected on a field goal earlier, so he was aware of the conditions and confident in his abilities.
However, in the playoffs, anything can happen.
With Bass’ miss, the Chiefs beat the Bills in the playoffs for the third time in the past four seasons, a streak they are desperately trying to break.
This team will need to reevaluate themselves in the offseason, hoping to make any necessary roster decisions.
The Bills continue to establish themselves as a solid team in the regular season but have been unable to get it done in the postseason lately.
What will it take for this team to get over the hump in 2024?
