The New York Yankees remain one of the most discussed teams this offseason.

Everyone wants to see what moves the Yankees make to improve their team each year.

So far this offseason they have made two significant trades.

The first was acquiring Alex Verdugo from the Boston Red Sox.

But that move got overshadowed by the addition of Juan Soto.

The Yankees pulled off a blockbuster trade to land Soto from the San Diego Padres.

It was a splash move many Yankees fans were hoping their team would make.

Yet, the Yankees lost a lot of depth in those trades.

To try and fill the holes on their roster the Yankees brought in another relief pitcher.

According to Bryan Hoch, the Yankees have added RHP Cody Morris.

Last season, he pitched six games for the Cleveland Guardians to an ERA of 6.75.

RHP Cody Morris, whom the #Yankees just acquired from Cleveland, had a 6.75 ERA in 6 relief appearances this past season. He has a 3.41 ERA over 13 career MLB appearances (5 starts).

This is not a move that is going to excite anyone.

But, you never know the impact Morris could have in the Yankees bullpen.

The Yankees still have plenty of money they can spend this offseason.

Also, there are still plenty of good free agents available.

It will be interesting to see what moves the Yankees make to continue improving their roster.

Adding Soto makes their lineup much more dangerous this year.

But, they still have plenty of issues on their roster that can use some upgrading.

The AL East might be the toughest division in baseball this upcoming year.

The Yankees have plenty of work to do if they want to be AL East champions.
