The Detroit Pistons have officially entered the history books, but not for the right reasons.

Monty Williams’ team is now riding the longest losing streak in NBA history at 27 games.

That’s why former Super Bowl champion Richard Sherman took to “Undisputed” to pay his respects to the city of Detroit.

The former NFL star claimed that the city needs to be thankful for football and how well the Detroit Lions and Michigan University are doing right now, as they’ve gone through some rough patches.

Sherman claimed that it’s hard to wrap his head around what’s gone wrong with the Pistons, as they’re playing sloppy basketball, but it’s not like they’re a bad team by any means.

He also thinks Williams isn’t to blame for what’s going on, although one could only think that he should be responsible for finding answers and stopping the bleeding.

The Pistons have some of the most talented and promising young players in the game, and you can tell that they’re trying; it’s not like with other tanking teams.

Also, they’re not getting blown out or demolished by other teams; they’ve actually fought hard and competed in narrow losses.

The worst part about this is that you just don’t know when the losing streak is going to end, as their next “winnable” game won’t come until January 3 when they face the sluggish Utah Jazz.

Winners of just two out of 30 games, the Pistons are getting everybody’s best effort, as no one wants to be the team that ended their losing streak.
