It’s Christmas weekend during the 2023 NFL season, and the Pittsburgh Steelers are hoping to give their fans an early Christmas present when they take on the Cincinnati Bengals.
The Steelers have been on a rough streak as they’ve dropped three consecutive games, though their last victory happened to come against the Bengals in Cincinnati.
However, Pittsburgh is at home for this edition of the AFC North rivalry and it is a crucial one as they need to win to keep their slim playoff hopes alive.
Both teams will be trotting out backup quarterbacks as Mason Rudolph and Jake Browning are slated to start.
Rudolph is making his first start of the season, while Browning has gone 3-0 since taking over for Joe Burrow who is out for the remainder of the season after injuring his wrist.
However, the Steelers will have star defensive pass rusher T.J. Watt who had fans excited with his pregame outfit via the team’s official Twitter account.

Watt’s sweater is a tribute to the popular “Home Alone” movie as Macaulay Culkin’s character orders a pizza from the fictional shop.
It’s a fun outfit for Watt and the fans as players get into the Christmas spirit, though the upcoming game is much more important given the implications for both teams.
While Pittsburgh looks to keep pace in the AFC, Cincinnati is in the thick of the playoff race and looks like they could make some noise.
Fortunately for the Steelers, the Bengals will also be without Ja’Marr Chase so fans are certainly hoping they can pull off a win and enjoy the holidays appropriately.
