After getting embarrassed by the Buffalo Bills last week, the Dallas Cowboys are in desperate need of a bounce-back win in Week 16 when the team travels to Hard Rock Stadium to take on the Miami Dolphins, who have one of the best offenses in the NFL.

Even though the Cowboys have already punched their ticket to the NFL playoffs, Dallas is hoping to clinch the highest seed possible in the NFC in order to improve their chances of going the distance and winning another Super Bowl title in the Jerry Jones era.

With the Cowboys leaning on their lockdown defense all season while being led by superstar linebacker Micah Parsons, America’s Team will need their defense to step up in Week 16 against the high-powered offense that will showcase Tua Tagovailoa, Raheem Mostert, Jaylen Waddle, and Tyreek Hill.

Star quarterback Dak Prescott may have taken a lot of flak for last week’s loss against the Bills, but this week, it will be on Parsons and company to help lead the team to victory, with the pressure solely on the defense, as Joy Taylor of FOX Sports points out on “Speak” on FS1.

Although there will be a lot of pressure on the Cowboys’ defense to step up in Week 16 against a high-scoring offense in Miami, Prescott will need to do his part to put points on the board, or he’ll continue to get heavily criticized with the playoffs drawing near.

This game will be one of the most anticipated matchups of the holiday weekend and a potential Super Bowl preview between two of the best teams in the league that both need a statement win before the postseason.
