KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) Democratic Alliance (DA) leader, Zwakele Rodgers, has vowed to take action after chaotic scenes erupted at the KZN Legislature on Tuesday. The DA leader expressed his disappointment at the violent and disruptive behavior displayed by some members of the public during the sitting of the legislature.
The chaos erupted when members of the public, believed to be supporters of the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF), stormed into the legislature and disrupted proceedings. They were protesting against the recent appointment of former President Jacob Zuma’s daughter, Thuthukile Zuma, as the Chief of Staff to the KZN Premier, Sihle Zikalala.
