Police issue urgent appeal to find two missing children

Officers have issued an urgent appeal for two children, aged 12 and 14, who are believed to have travelled from Kent to London without their parents’ knowledge.

According to the authorities, the two children, Sarah and Jack, were last seen in their hometown of Canterbury on Friday afternoon. They were reported missing by their parents after they failed to return home that evening.

The police have reason to believe that the children have travelled to London, possibly by train, and are now in the capital city. CCTV footage has confirmed that they were spotted at St Pancras International station on Friday evening.

This news has caused great concern for the safety and well-being of the two children, who are both very young and vulnerable. The police are appealing to the public for any information or sightings of the children.

Speaking about the case, Detective Inspector Mark Jones said, “We are extremely worried about Sarah and Jack’s welfare. They are only 12 and 14 years old and we need to find them as soon as possible.”

He also added, “We believe that the children have travelled to London without their parents’ knowledge and we urge anyone who may have seen them or knows of their whereabouts to come forward and contact us immediately.”

The police have also released descriptions of the two children in the hopes that it will help in locating them. Sarah is described as being 5ft tall, with long brown hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans, and black trainers. Jack is described as being 5ft 2in tall, with short blonde hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a grey hoodie, black joggers, and black trainers.

The children’s parents are understandably distressed and are pleading for their safe return. They have said that it is completely out of character for their children to run away and they are extremely worried about their safety.

The police are working closely with the children’s families and are also conducting extensive searches in London to try and locate them. They are also appealing to the public for any information that may help in finding Sarah and Jack.

This incident highlights the importance of being aware of our children’s whereabouts and ensuring their safety at all times. It is also a reminder for parents to have open communication with their children and to educate them about the potential dangers of travelling alone.

If you have any information about the whereabouts of Sarah and Jack, please contact the police immediately. Any piece of information, no matter how small, could be crucial in finding the children and reuniting them with their worried parents.

Let us all come together and help bring these two children home safely. Our thoughts are with Sarah and Jack’s families during this difficult time, and we hope for a positive outcome in this search.
