Over the last several months, a few stars and superstars have switched teams across the NBA, and there could be more major player movement to come.
The Miami Heat have been trying to land Damian Lillard all summer long, and there could be a number of other stars that could end up on the trade market soon if their current teams decide to get a return for them instead of allowing them to hit free agency.
NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski, per NBA Central, said that some “massive talents” could soon be available for the taking on the trade market.

The biggest name people have been talking about, other than Lillard, is Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo, who recently told the New York Times that he will not sign a contract extension unless he’s confident the Bucks can contend for the NBA championship in the future.
He can opt out of his current contract in the summer of 2025, and if the Bucks decide to trade him beforehand, there will be many teams scratching and clawing for a shot at landing the Greek Freak.
Another big name to watch is Jayson Tatum, the Boston Celtics star forward who, like Antetokounmpo, can opt out of his contract in the summer of 2025.
If Boston fails to win their 18th NBA title, would Tatum at least consider leaving New England for greener pastures?
In addition, Donovan Mitchell, who carried the Cleveland Cavaliers back to the playoffs in his first season with them, can become a free agent in 2025 if he wishes.
Many thought Mitchell would be traded to the New York Knicks last summer instead of the Cavs, and there are still rumors the Tri-state area native could be headed there not too long from now.
